Ryerson Fashion Research Collection - App Design

In 2016 I was part of a trio of students who were awarded the opportunity to develop the first interactive app to showcase garments, accessories, and ephemera from the Ryerson Fashion Research Collection. Aloisa Macedonio, Ben Christy and I worked under the supervision of Ingrid Mida, Collection Coordinator, and Beatriz Juarez, Ryerson Faculty. We were given creative freedom to explore typography, layout, and interactive design using the Adobe Suite. I adopted the role of lead layout designer, creating the navigational pages within the app, the cover design, and a variety of article templates. Working closely with a small team for six months familiarized me with the collaborative work environment common at most creative agencies.
